This is the Boulder community at our finest. For over a quarter century, the Boulder Creek Festival® has been the kickoff to summer in Boulder. Always scheduled for Memorial Weekend (Saturday, May 24th through Monday, May 26th), this event is just another Boulder venue besides the Bolder Boulder for the three day weekend.

One of Boulder Colorado County’s favorite events, this summer’s kickoff is a festival atmosphere of three days  of activities for the kids, exhibitors displaying art and wares, food and local brewery representation, plus entertainment (local bands.)

The signature event is the Rubber Duck Race, +/- 10,000 rubber ducks down Boulder Creek, a fund raiser capping the three day event.

The Festival is free to the public and features something for everyone: 9 separate event areas with 500 vendors showcase everything from community arts and crafts to health alternatives and technology while 4 performance stages feature a spectrum of music and dance. The Festival also features carnival rides, food and beverage vendors, and the signature event: a rubber duck race down the creek!
