Imagine…. buying real estate in a bad neighborhood? Prior to reading the article, not sure what is a “bad” neighborhood, and even more so, I was intigued as to what could possess somone to want to invest in a “bad” neighborhood. The author has some good points. Points I can validate, because I have rental properties in Northglenn, Thornton, and Commerce City, Colorado. I would not call these necessarily “bad” neighborhoods, but persons moving to Colorado, typically these are not first choice cities. Per the article, excellent points reflected in good values, easier to rent, and good tenants that appreciate the property that I provide. Escapeso Austin Real Estate is a small team of realty professionals. Not sure if the “bad” neighborhoods are a reflection of areas in greater Austin.
