8 Reasons to Use a Realtor

feat_Cliff-Daniels-Realtor_smWhen buying a home, consider working with a Realtor. Having worked for years in the Boulder County and Louisville Colorado area, I’m asked all the time why people should go with a realtor instead of just doing everything themselves.

While there may be some advantages to going it alone, consider the reasons below, and I think you’ll see why using a realtor for your next home purchase in Colorado makes sense.

1. A REALTOR has extensive information all in one place about what is on the market. Including homes listed by other REALTORS. You won’t waste time looking at unsuitable homes.

2. A REALTOR helps you determine how much you can afford; how you can acquire the down payment; and what financing options may be open to you.

3. A REALTOR can help you find the home best suited to your needs size, style, features, location, accessibility to schools, transportation, shopping, etc.

4. A REALTOR can suggest simple changes that could make a prospective home more suitable for you and improve its utility and enjoyment.

5. A REALTOR can supply information on real estate values, taxes, utility costs, municipal services and facilities, and may be aware of proposed zoning changes that could affect your decision to buy.

6. A REALTOR has no emotional ties to a home; can be objective about it, can point out its advantages and disadvantages; and is a expert negotiator.

7. A REALTOR strives for fairness and agreement. He/she eliminates personality conflicts with owners and is totally objective to help you find the most suitable home at the most reasonable price in the shortest period of time.

8. A REALTOR can familiarize you with the closing procedures by explaining them all in advance.

  2. An interesting discussion is worth comment. There’s no doubt that that you need to write more on this subject, it may not be a taboo subject
but generally people don’t discuss these subjects. To the
    next! Many thanks!!

  3. In the above mortgage related article. After the bank bailouts still no one is questioning that any mortgage that was originated with less than 20 % down had Mortgage Insurance.
Intreresting how nobody questions that its like the Banks got to double dip so to speak, and got money on both ends. Mortgage loans should be fair for all.
